Star plus seems to have conned the entire public of India this time. Yes. We know that the entire finale was shot much earlier and it was NOT a LIVE telecast. So naturally Shahid and Vidya also announced the names of winners before 12th itself when the finale was shot much earlier,taking into count votes received only till that date. So WHY on earth did the channel ask the public to vote till 9 pm on 12th july when the public’s votes on 12th were not taken into consideration at all? Results were announced long before 12th on the shoot. The grand finale shoot took place long before 12th, maybe even four five days before. Why then were the public asked to vote on 12th till 9 pm? Votes received on 12th could not have been counted, recorded and announced live to the public within three hours unless ofcourse it were A LIVE TELECAST. So public were asked to waste our money by way of sms and royally conned. I would say cheated. Isnt it cheap man? All those who have supported this show from the start, like me, should gang up and go and ask the star plus channel for an explanation. We, along with our supporters also intend to give the details of this phoney show to the press people and ask everybody concerned for a fair explanation and for justice, if it is fair on the part of such a reputed channel to cheat the public this way. Come on guys, if you feel there is truth in my questions and i have a valid point, then lets do something about it.

As the jo jeeta wohi super star completed its shoot on wednesday and thursday, long before 12th saturday, publics voting on 11th and 12th didnt get counted at all. Shoot and winners announcement was recorded done and over with much before 12th. Why the hell Mandira asked the public to keep voting till 9 pm On saturday? Does the channel think we will believe them when they say votes were counted, after 9 pm on saturday, then all the program after that was telecast live or recorded, shot and played to us within 12 am on saturday? We all know this wasnt a live telecast. Everything was pre recorded. Isnt this phoney, guys? Is star plus doing a match fixing job or are they literally cheating the public so that mobile companies can make money out of sms’s which are not of any value to anybody? India, it seems to me dal me jarur kuch kala hai. From tomorrow our whole community and friends are going to stop watching or supporting star plus. Star plus is banned as far as we are concerned. We have lost faith in star plus. Never never are we going to give one single vote on any show. Star plus has broken our trust. I wont be surprised if some people take it in their heads to give these points to the press or give out much much negative publicity about star plus. Star plus - we hate you for doing this to us. If you have been fair and we have misjudged you, do explain yourself, but say only the truth. We public want our justice.

Its very nice that Rahul won the title but I think that Toshi was more deserving.Rahul’s voive is fantastic but Toshi was superb and he was really deserving to be the superstar of India.I think that Rahul was not very concerned with his singing only Farah Khan(idiut) liked him so according to my opinion after Toshi Abhijeet Was the most deserving contestant.

rahul you do not deserve this title at all. hershet and abhijeet are more deserving than you. just having good hair style and personality and making Farah Khan happy, does not mean you deserve this title. it was a singing competition not Mr world contest!!!

Ye Rahul do you know you dont have even half the charm and talent of Abhijeet. According to me you won by some sort of match fixing by the channel people. You won by FLUKE. You certainly dont deserve the title, the jacket or the money. I wish you all bad luck always

i completely agree with the coments above, regarding the sly stunt star tv has pulled on the public, and i rtuly wish something action could be taken in this regard…. star tv, please remember that we are not fools!!!!!!
secondly, i once again agree with some of the posts that rahul is not a deserving candidate for this title…. in the first place, i thought debojit should have won and was completely heart broken when he did not makeit to the finals….. but, then i was hopeful that atleast abhijeet would win…. the final result left me aghast!!!! rahul is a highly overrated singer…. infact, i would say that more than a singer he is a good performer and that’s it…. h should have been eliminated long ago….
after all this drama, i’m happy that debu did not win this cheap title… he is far too dignified for it and i’m sure he will go a long way…..
finally, i appeal to the audienece , that atleast in future please vote for the right person and the deserving one!!!!!

so many winners could have been chosen… i thought abhi jeet was most improved and deserving singer…. also harshit had been brutally amzing…. i was in favor of these two…. rahul was always been a judge’s favorite…. i dont think he is as good as a singer as abhijeet and harshit…. also,i would have made debujeet,vineet, himani, ashwariya and toshi, a winner much before rahul… a very ordinary finale…. i very ordinary design of program… all the bipasha section was shot other then the program…. so many bloopers…. neha changing dress almost 20 times during the program… no ishmeet in early program and suddenly arrives and then he gets invisible again… very interesting… over all i would say the program on the whole was a flop…. 6 format changes all through 14 weeks….
1. bilateral elimination
2. wild card entries of amey and rex
3. sudden entry of all singers in a program without informing rex, amey & toshi
4. two eliminations when only 5 singers are left
5. sudden reminder by judges that scoring should be strict…
6. a finale of three singers reducing the chances for one

lots of mistakes in formwatting…. not a very good selection of songs… not a very good judgement…. esp by farah khan… i am totally in favor of vishal and shakhar but not farah…. i am a better judge then her…. i request star plus to re think such an idea if they have another in mind….

From all the comments here, it looks like Rahul Vaidya’s victory was pre-decided. In any case, it is quite clear that there is hardly any difference in the quality of the three singers, all three are really good. My personal favorite was Harshit, because I liked the tonal quality of his voice. I was disappointed by his voice. The judges and the anchor kept telling him to grin, I dont know what that has got to do with good singing. I guess Rahul Vaidya’s grin and his overall charisma won the day, which is what most of these shows are all about!
