Here are some more interesting observations by music lovers on the Abhijeet Raja dual. Some of the observations may be rude to Raja but as Raja fans we should see both sides of the coin:

1)If all the reality shows started letting contestants speak their mind no guru/mahaguru/mentor will escape unhurt, these days even 17-18 yrs old contestants have big egos. Im aure if on SRGM show they ask eliminated ones if the decision was correct/was there bias in judgement they may even criticise khayyam, Asha ji and many other stalwarts.

Here I am not trying to defend Abhijeet out of way but just trying to show a diff perspective, these all are tricks to increase TRPs, more controversy more viewership, no one from Zee is bothered what Raja is doing after this show or where is Abhijeet. They can easily edit controversial parts and keep things clean, they can organise a meeting between contestants and judge to sort the differences out over the back, why is it important for Mandira to ask on camera how Raja feels or why is channel bothered to do a survey if Abhijeet has favoured Sancita out of way, if they feel so, they can easily change the mentor, every one becomes a puppet in the hand of production house and its always the latter which does the last laugh (read mint money).

2)Okay some of those people going on and on about “respecting elders”, like srsly what the??

so elders are always right? some elders don’t deserve respect, period!

you don’t earn respect because you are born before someone else, you earn respect because of your actions …no one has control over when they are born..but they have control over how they lead their lives and over their attitude..

if i see someone older than me do some injustice, i am not gonna stay quiet just because they happen to be older than me…

this vintage desi concept annoys me… and it may seem all peachy and nice in Balaji TV soaps but it doesn’t work in real life…

3)I Don’t watch this show it infuriates me because Abhijeet is the worst judge ever on indian singing show..

he is biased to the core, has hidden agendas behind everything he says/does and overall does not look/seem/appear like a decent human being..

but i happened to watch this episode.. i say WELL DONE RAJA.. you don’t just sit there and put up with injustices.. Raja is an awesome singer and he expressed his views, i thought quite mildly and politely..

4) I support Raja.. i don’t think he was rude…you go Raja!! i hope that you won this show..you deserve it bb, just like you deserved to win srgmp 07…

5) I agree with you completely. i dont see anyone saying that abhijeet was right…..we all know that he wasnt and that he is biased. however, the point being made is that raja and jassi did not behave appropriately with abhijeet. and none of this…..oh abhijeet doesnt know how to behave etc etc. two wrongs dont make a right……straight and simple.

and chitra….there is no such thing as respect anymore in the entertainment industry. gone are the days when the juniors considered their seniors as someone superior to them. these days respect has to be “earned.” …….being elder to someone isnt enough……….curious to know where our indian culture is headed.

and i’m not defending abhijeet….i know he has faults and is wrong. but if you stoop yourself to the same level as the other…..there is really no difference between you anymore is there.

those of who were familiar with ishmeet should take him as an example…..he put up with so much…so many harsh words yet woh rab ke bande ne kabhi kuch bura nahin kaha tha judges ko. today everyone remembers him for that…..for his simplicity and humbleness.

6) Ha! A country that proudly boasts about heritage and “guru” equivalent to God also encourages such attitude?! Until Raja behaved like that, I was fond of him. The day he opened his mouth with such rude statements, he fell to the bottom in my list. With Jassi - I never liked her on mini screen. Despite that I slowly started to grow some liking for her dance, and that was completely ruined when she made the sarcastic statement - how much arrogance she has!! I couldnt believe my eyes and ears!!! At that moment, I realized she plays villain roles on TV because it fits well for her attitude!! Yes, she doesnt need much change of outfit or make-up to do that role!!!

Abhijeet might have some errors, but when Raja and Jassi stooped so low, what difference do they have from Abhijeet? How do they look saintly before Abhijeet after that?! For one, Meenal, Emon, Poonam, Aishwarya, Aneek, Mussarat, Harpreet, etc never behaved so rudely to the judges. It was always Sanober, Abhishek, and Rajashree, and then Sayantini, and now Raja and Jassi who have questioned the judges in such manner. It shows their arrogance and the way they think they are someone great and should be getting high scores all the time! What an attitude!!!

7) Here I want to comment on Raja vs Abhijeet and nothing more or less. But their credentials.:

Abhijeet has been there perhaps before Raja Hassan was born. He has sung for music directors like R D Burman, Jagjit Singh, Ravindra Jain, Rajesh Roshan, Anand Milind, Anu Malik, Jatin Lalit, Aadesh Srivastva, Pritam and few more. Jatin lalit literally made him the popular singing voice of Shah Rukh Khan. He has given voice to many bangla adhuneek geet, bhojpuri songs, not to mention many songs in Bollywood films and his total recordings are more than 4000 till date. He has judged prestigious shows like SRGM lil champ, Amul Star VOI , Zee SRGM Bangla and many other programmes.

He won the Filmfare award for the best singer for his song ‘Chand taare’ in Yes Bos, MTV achievement award and many other prizes. Not once but many of his songs have hit the top charts.

Success didnt come to him in a platter and he has struggled real hard in Bombay.

His severe criticism has roots in the fact that he has anti Pakistani view, I wont go into wrong or right just like any other ordainary person he also is entitled to his opinion.

I am sure if he didnt have a satisfactory resume he wont have become a judge of a show of ESBE repute.

Regards raja Hassan, I have high regards for him, he is talented but a new born in the world of singing who has just started seeing the recording room. His comment like Allah ki awaz mila ke…was not appropriate at all. Currently in the era of reality shows where nearly 50 new singers are coming every year Raja has to prove himself before he indulges in personal jibes like his fan following and India ko jawab dena padta hai. He should look at the clout and merit of sufi sungers (his genre) like RFAK and Sukhvinder, automatically he would be humbled, forced to pick up the taanpura and start doing riyaz.

Raja was rude,but he was right. Raja had enough and he had to say what on his heart. I think Abhijeet himself became scared therefore he defended himself, but I think he got scared because finally someone tells him the truth. He should take seriously Raja’s words and stop preffering Sanchita. She didn’t really deserved 10 every time he gave he it. (espesially in bottom 2 with Aneek and what did he say? “I can’t believe you’re in bottom 2″? Abhijeet dear, you’ve just unmasked yourself!)

Go Raja and Jassi!!!! You were great!!!
